On Tuesday the 26th of October, Wadi Makkah Ventures and Falak Investment Hub hosted the “VCs and Investors Round Table” which brought together more than 30 participants of the most prominent technology venture capitals and investors in the region. The event aimed to provide avenues for joint investments and the sharing of investment opportunities among them, which would contribute to diversifying investment sources and creating attractive and stimulating opportunities for a bold investment environment in the region, in addition to achieving economic integration.

This meeting comes after the cooperation agreement signed between Wadi Makkah Ventures and Falak Investment Hub, which aims to enhance the exchange of expertise and experience in developing and supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on attracting local and international start-ups for investment programs. The two entities offer various mentoring programs that work to create investment opportunities, in a pioneering environment that stimulates entrepreneurs based on enriching the experience of its visitors and exchanging expertise, to provide a model for the coherence and effectiveness of the knowledge society and to enhance its role in contributing to advancing the wheel of the local economy and studying the possibility of entry and participation in investment rounds, and start-ups benefiting from the incubation services offered by both parties, providing private workspaces and laboratories equipped with the latest technologies in an effort to empower businesses.

Falak Investments Hub is the first accelerator program powered by angel investors in Saudi Arabia and was recently ranked the number 1 accelerator in KSA by Monshaat in Q3 2021.
